The Foote Files: The Rolling Stones 'Ain't Too Proud To Beg'
(CBS 11) - In 1974, the British rock and roll/blues band, The Rolling Stones, recorded and released a song made famous eight years earlier by The Temptations: "Ain't Too Proud To Beg," which we featured in our last edition of the Foote Files.
The song was on the charts for seven weeks and finished at #17 in the fall of 1974.
A little harder-edged that the Temptations version but nonetheless a good one.
