Energy Companies Offering Money To Universities
Two new energy companies are offering contributions to the universities they're named for. Here's the hint: Texas Longhorns Energy and Texas A&M Aggie Energy.
The companies have promised contributions to the athletic programs for each customer signing up for renewable energy. It's a statewide offer and won't be limited to Longhorns and Aggies.
Dallas-based Branded Retail Energy put the deals together..and Houston's Champion Energy Service will provide the power for both plans. The Longhorns version is set to launch in mid-August and the Aggie energy plan in early September.
