FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The first baby born in 2016 at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth was a boy, Nathan Martinez.
He arrived at 12:12 a.m. on January 1.
Nathan weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
He is the second child of Evelia and Jose Martinez of Arlington, who also have a 9-year-old daughter.
Also, Ariel Jarrard welcomed daughter Allana Mae at 12:11 a.m. at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance. Mom and baby are doing well.
