DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Three men died in a shooting at a Lake Highlands apartment complex.

Patrol officers responded Saturday afternoon to the Montecito Palms Apartments on reports of shots fired.

Authorities say they initially could not find any indication of a disturbance but an officer eventually was given the number of an apartment where shots were heard.

Two men were found in a front room dead of gunshot wounds. Police say a third man was found in a back room also dead from gunshots.

Authorities have not identified the men and did not indicate a motive for the shooting.
