Dallas Man Survives Falling Out Of Water Slide, Over Cliff

AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM) - A Dallas man is recovering after sliding over the edge of a water slide at a private home near Lake Travis in the Austin area Monday.

David Salmon posted video of his freak accident on Facebook.

As he hit a curve in the slide he could not stop from going over the slide and a cliff

"Too dang old to be going down water slides. Fell off this one that is over a rocky cliff," he wrote along with his video post.

Salmon says he was hospitalized with a broken arm, fractured ribs and had lacerations, cuts and bruises on his back, arms and side.

He says he does not need surgery and is back home in Dallas resting.
