Dallas County Offering HIV Testing On World AIDS Day
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - More than 14,000 people in Dallas County are living with HIV, and last year nearly 900 news cases were diagnosed.
Dallas County Health Director Zachary Thompson says what's more staggering is hundreds of teens are living with the disease.

Thompson says last year over 200 people between the ages of 13-24 were infected, a number that has continued to grow over the past few years. "We know that HIV continues to be an issue in our community, especially among the younger age groups."
December 1 is World AIDS Day, and in Dallas, free testing will be offered Wednesday at two locations in Dalllas. Click here to find out about locations & times.
