Cowboys Trade Lissemore & Claim Bosworth

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) -- The Dallas Cowboys continued their roster shuffle on Sunday by trading defensive tackle Sean Lissemore to the San Diego Chargers and claiming linebacker Kyle Bosworth off waivers.

The Cowboys, who drafted William & Mary graduate Lissemore in the seventh-round in 2010, will receive a seventh-round pick in 2015 from San Diego.

Dallas signed Lissemore to a three-year extension last September, a deal that would have kept him in Dallas through 2016.

Lissemore, who suffered a concussion in the preseason finale against Houston, will return to a 3-4 defense where he flourished with the Cowboys for the past three seasons.

Plano West graduate Kyle Bosworth was claimed by the Cowboys just one day after being release by the New York Giants, the Cowboys opponent in Week 1.

Bosworth spent his first three seasons with Jacksonville, appearing in 25 games and recording 42 tackles and one interception.

The linebacker spent four seasons at UCLA before signing with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2010.
