Cold Nights and Cool Afternoons for North Texas this Week!
The winds have finally let up after howling most of last night and this morning. Here is a look at the peak wind gusts since Monday.
COLD NIGHTS
Temperatures each night for the rest of the week will drop into the 30s. Many areas will see a freeze the next several nights.
COOL AFTERNOONS
The average high temperature for this time of year is 63 degrees. But we will only see highs in the 50s and 40s this week.
THIS EVENING
Mostly clear skies and chilly. Winds will be light.
TONIGHT
Clear skies and cold with temperatures below freezing for some. Light NW winds.
TOMORROW
Mostly sunny and cool with temperatures in the mid 50s. Winds will be breezy again gusting to 25 mph out of the northwest.
REST OF THE WEEK
The cool weather sticks around for the rest of the week. There will be an upper level disturbance that arrives on Friday. There is a very small chance of seeing some light precipitation with this disturbance either flurries or drizzle, but it does not look very promising.
