Check Out the Northern Lights!
While most of us will never see them in person, folks that live in Canada get to check out the Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights. It's the area where the Earth's magnetic field interacts with our atmosphere, creating energy seen as light.
The Canadian Space Agency has created a website that allows you to watch the light show every night....from your computer! Neat stuff. Check it out here.
