Cedar Hill Police Say No Attempted Abduction, Call Off Search

CEDAR HILL (CBSDFW.COM) - Cedar Hill police say they have called off a search for two men and say there was no attempted child abduction at a school Friday.

According to police, there were five girls between the ages of 12 and 14 were walking on a trail when they came across a tent in a wooded area. They started going through the tent.

Police say two men approached them and took their stuff back. One of the men may have cut one of the kids as they were taking their stuff back.

Police are looking into why the two men were in the area, but they say it's near a state park.

The children involved are all accounted for and are safe, police say.
