FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – A group of Boy Scouts from Dallas spent the day Saturday at Alliance Fort Worth airport.
The field trip aimed at providing the young teens an opportunity to get an up close view of the airplanes and motivate them to become interested in a career in aviation.
The scouts were also allowed to go up into the control tower. At the end of the trip they earned their aviation merit badges.
Robert Bradshaw, 13, from troop 167 said "We just want to learn about everything so when we graduate from college we know what we want to be."
