WACO (AP) - The Baylor Lady Bears have added post player Beatrice Mompremier to their early signing class.
Mompremier signed a national letter of intent with Baylor on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-4 Mompremier led Miami High School to the Florida Class 8-A championship as a junior last season when she averaged 15 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks a game. She was the Florida Gatorade player of the year, and also the USA Today Player of the Year.
Her brother, Wadley, is a 6-foot-10 sophomore forward for Ohio University.
Baylor had previously announced the signings of post player Kalani Brown, forward Justis Szczepanski-Beavers (sah-PAN'-skee) and guards Alyssa Dry and Alexandria Gulley.
