Baby Among Those Rescued From Flooded Krum House

KRUM (CBSDFW.COM) — 4 adults and a baby were among those rescued Sunday by the U.S. National Guard helicopter.
Local authorities were blocked by flood waters Sunday when responding to an emergency call about individuals trapped in a Krum residence. Massive storms and flooding prevented local authorities from sending fire trucks down Main Street to make the rescue. The flood waters originated from a nearby creek.

According to the AP, Denton County Emergency Services Chief Jody Gonzalez said Sunday that multiple rescues had been performed from flooded streets and homes in Krum.
More rain is expected Sunday night.
As water rescues are underway, the American Red Cross is setting up a safe location for those impacted by flooding and tornado storms at Denia Recreation Center, 1001 Parvin Street, Denton, Texas. This location is open for anyone impacted by the storms. With additional storms developing, the Red Cross will continue to keep you posted on additional services.
