FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Students at Arlington Heights High School were let out after a shooting across from the campus.
A fight broke out between two students at the McDonald's across the street from the school. One boy involved in the fight pulled out a gun and fired one shot, but the shot didn't hit anyone. The boy was arrested. The gun has not been recovered.
As a precaution, the school went in lockout mode -- no one could enter the building and no one could exit, but classes went on as normal.
The lockout was lifted at the end of the school day.
