Arlington Complex Facing Foreclosure; Tenants Scrambling
Some North Arlington apartment tenants are scrambling to find a place to live because their complex is in danger of foreclosure. The power company also says the Bristol Point complex has neglected to pay its electric bill, so notices were posted that the power could be cut off any time. Yesterday, pick-up trucks and moving vans were scattered around the grounds near I-30 and North Collins as residents loaded their belongings. Some residents were told they would not be held to their leases. The complex's owners, Florida-based Corporate King, has been struggling to the point that banks have already foreclosed on about a half-dozen of its properties in and around Miami.
