All Tarrant Co. Tax Offices Closed Wednesday, May 11

TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - Tarrant County will close all of its tax offices this coming Wednesday, May 11 for a staff development day.

This is the fourth straight year of the event.

The Tax-Assessor Collector's Officer says the purpose is to help staff increase their level of knowledge and skills and provide the best customer service experience for Tarrant County citizens.

"Closing the offices for Staff Development Day is a great way to get out important information to all of our employees," says Vickie Doane, Manager, Staff Development & Communications for Ron Wright, Tax-Assessor Collector.

While we are closed, citizens can renew their vehicle registration here  or one of the convenient grocery store locations (Kroger, Tom Thumb, Carnival, Fiesta), and AAA-Alliance.

Taxpayers can pay their your property tax online or call 817-884-1110 to pay by phone.

There is no fee to pay by e-check. A convenience fee is charged for debit and credit cards.
