PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - A mini vacation is how the man accused of kidnapping Christina Morris from a Plano shopping center is calling his time in jail, according to a woman who visited him.

For the first time, CBS11 is hearing from someone who was inside the inner circle of Enrique Arochi and his family.

A woman who dated his brother before and after Christina Morris disappeared from at The Shops at Legacy in August 2014 offered insight into his behavior and possible guilt.

Nicky Roberts said she visited the man accused of kidnapping Christina Morris during a visit with his family in the Collin County Jail.

"He was sitting there saying it's a mini-vacation to him that they have nothing on him," said Roberts.

The 19-year-old said Arochi seemed confident he would be out of jail for a crime he claimed he had nothing to do with.

Roberts dated Arochi's brother Carlos and believes he could provide answers to Plano Police.

"Enrique and Carlos. They tell each other everything," said Roberts.

Roberts said Arochi was known for keeping a blanket in his gray Camaro which detectives found Morris's DNA in the trunk of.

She said that blanket disappeared between the time the 23-year-old went missing and a few months later when police seized the car.

"I asked him where it went and he said he didn't know and I said do you think your brother did something to Christina and he said I'm really not sure anymore," said Roberts.

Roberts has gone from being welcome in the Arochi's Allen home to becoming friends with the mother of Christina Morris.

"I was kind of in shock with the insight of the family she was able to provide and the privileges of an inmate he was able to get," said Jonnie McElroy, Christina's mother.

Roberts said she witnessed Enrique Arochi become violent with an ex-girlfriend.

"They actually went downstairs and as they were walking he's up throwing his girlfriend and then saying no, she threw herself," said Roberts.

Roberts said she was contacted by police but not interviewed.
