A Casino Near Gettysburg?
The plan to build a casino near the Gettysburg Battlefield is up for a vote.
The Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association has announced its support for the proposal to turn an existing hotel and conference center into a casino. But, The National Commander of the American Legion says the gaming hall is too close to the battlefield.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has a hearing scheduled for August 31st.
