NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) have added a North Texas man to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the capture of Lavinci Damon Henderson.

Officials consider Henderson, 41, a "high-risk sex offender" and confirm he is wanted for the sexual assault of a child and failure to register as a sex offender.

Police do not know Henderson's whereabouts, but say he has ties to Fort Worth. It was in 1994 that he was convicted in Tarrant County of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of aggravated kidnapping. The female victims in those crimes were only 12 and 13 at the time.

In 2014, Fort Worth police arrested Henderson on child sex assault charges.  He last registered as a sex offender in May of 2015.

Henderson stands 5' 11" inches and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He has a tattoo on his left arm; a birthmark on his upper right arm; and scars on his abdomen and both arms.
