5 Teens Arrested In Connection To Armed Robbery, Police Chase

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - A police foot chase through the backyards of an east Dallas neighborhood ends with the arrests of five teenagers.

Investigators said the teenagers had robbed a 7-11 store at gun-point in Mesquite, and then took off in a stolen white Honda SUV.

A Mesquite officer spotted the stolen vehicle which led to a pursuit ending at dead in near Munger and Parry Avenue.

The five teenagers inside the vehicle then took off on foot through the neighborhood.

Two of the suspects were found hiding inside a neighbor's backyard shed.  All five were eventually apprehended.

Three of the suspects are juveniles.

The two adult suspects Marlon Perkins, 17, and D'andre Bryant, 17, were charged with Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest. Mesquite police said the two confessed to the robbery.

Perkins, who was the driver of the stolen vehicle, was also charged with Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle
