UNIVERSITY PARK (CBSDFW.COM) - The search is on for a Dallas college student. Police have issued a campus alert at Southern Methodist University for a 21-year-old man after his fraternity president reported him missing.

Connor Burrell was last seen at around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, walking along the sidewalk near NorthPark Center in Dallas, not far from the SMU campus. About 45 minutes before that, he was reportedly seen along SMU Boulevard. But he now seems to have vanished without a trace.

Burrell's parents are from the United States, but currently live in Great Britain. They are expected to arrive back in the country on Thursday, amid their son's disappearance. Burrell's fraternity brothers at Sigma Alpha Epsilon said that the he left his wallet, phone and laptop at home.

Anybody with information about Burrell's location is urged to contact police immediately. The Dallas Police Department and SMU campus police are both investigating this case.
