100s In The Weather Forecast For DFW

The past several days we have seen at least isolated showers/storms in North Texas.  That combined with some cloud cover has kept temperatures a little on the cooler side.  But we are back in the heat for the rest of the week into the weekend.

THIS EVENING

I can't rule out an isolated storm bubbling up, but coverage will be low.

WEDNESDAY

Partly to mostly sunny skies on Wednesday.  An isolated storm can't be ruled out during the heating of the day.  But rain chances remain at 10%.

HOT REST OF THE WEEK

Right now there is a big area of high pressure sitting over the southeast US.

That high will expand westward and move into North Texas.  This will increase the temperatures here and end any rain chances.

HOT NEXT WEEK

A few private schools have started already, but most schools head back next week.  It will be hot as the kids head back.  Temperatures in the 100s early next week and all of next week looks to be above average.
