15-year-old killed in overnight drive-by shooting at Fort Worth home, police say
A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting on Glenbrook Lane overnight in Fort Worth, authorities said.
Officers were called to the 6700 block of Glenbrook Lane around 1:30 a.m. for a shooting. Responding officers found a boy shot inside the home, officials said.
Fort Worth Fire also responded and took the boy to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead just after 2:20 a.m.
The teen's father told CBS Texas that his son, Prince Semaj Washington, was a student at South Hills High School in Fort Worth.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the shooting, police said. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
