More than a half of dozen small businesses along Mill Street in Lewisville suffered damage Sunday; the storm tore off shingles, broke windows, and punched a hole in the siding at the Mill Street Dinner.

Local authorities were blocked by flood waters Sunday when responding to an emergency call about individuals trapped in a Krum residence. Massive storms and flooding prevented local authorities from sending fire trucks down Main Street to make the rescue. The flood waters originated from a nearby creek.
