Inside ATC facility, Duffy on FAA systems

CBS News obtained exclusive video inside an air traffic control facility in Philadelphia during a recent outage. The facility handles flights coming in and out of Newark Liberty International Airport. Meanwhile, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy told a Senate committee on Thursday that the Federal Aviation Administration has turned to 3D printers and eBay to replace and purchase broken or outdated equipment. CBS News' Kris Van Cleave has more details.

Transportation Secretary Duffy on FAA cuts

On his first full day as transportation secretary, Sean Duffy faced the deadliest U.S. aviation accident in more than 20 years. The midair collision near Washington, D.C., killed 67 people and just on Monday, a flight from Minneapolis crash-landed in Toronto with all passengers surviving. CBS News senior transportation correspondent Kris Van Cleave spoke with Duffy about that and the recent layoffs at the Federal Aviation Administration.
