Gov. Newsom deploys National Guard to support food banks during government shutdown

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is deploying the California National Guard to assist food banks and setting aside $80 million in state support as millions of Californians face a halt in federal food assistance because of the government shutdown. Katie Nielsen reports.
