Woman Seriously Injured In San Francisco Crash Into Telephone Pole
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman suffered life-threatening injuries when her vehicle struck a telephone pole on 19th Avenue at Lawton Street in San Francisco Tuesday morning.
The accident took place at 6:50 a.m., San Francisco Fire Department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
The woman's vehicle struck the pole and landed alongside a building. No other vehicles were involved, Talmadge said.
The driver was trapped in her vehicle until paramedics arrived.
She was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, Talmadge said.
