1 Wounded In Shooting On I-580 In Oakland Near Highway 24
OAKLAND (KPIX) -- The California Highway Patrol was investigating a shooting on Interstate 580, Tuesday night.
It happened around 9 p.m. at the Highway 24 interchange. One person was shot, according to police.
The CHP shut down all lanes on eastbound 580 just west of the 24, prompting a Sigalert at 9:07 p.m.
Motorists were advised to expect delays and to use alternate routes.
