Midday shooting in San Francisco Mission District leaves 1 dead
A midday shooting in the San Francisco Mission District left one person dead on Friday, San Francisco Police said.
Around 12:42 p.m., police were called to a home on the 3000 block of 26th Street for reports of a possible shooting.
Officers at the scene found a man who had been shot. Police said he died at the scene.
The death is being investigated by the police department's homicide detail.
