Police investigating deadly fight at Hayward business
Hayward police said officers responded to reports of a fight at a business Saturday that left one person dead.
Just before midnight, police were called and told about a fight happening at a business on the 300 block of Winton Avenue.
Officers arrived and found a 42-year-old man who was unconscious and not breathing. Police said the victim had trauma to his head and that a witness at the scene was giving him CPR.
The victim was then taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
Police said no arrests have been made yet, and they are still investigating.
