Pedestrian Killed Crossing Busy Fremont Street
FREMONT (CBS SF) - A woman was killed in Fremont when she was struck by a vehicle while walking, officials said.
Police responded to the collision on Walnut Avenue west of Fremont Boulevard at 6:33 p.m.
A woman in her early 40s was walking across Walnut Avenue when a vehicle struck her, police said.
The Alameda County coroner's office said the woman died from her injuries.
