CHP Motorcycle Officer Hits Pedestrian in SF
A California Highway Patrol officer riding on a motorcycle hit and injured an apparently drunk pedestrian near San Francisco's Ingelside Heights Wednesday morning.
CHP officials tell KCBS the officer was riding east on Brotherhood Way, near Head Street, which is several blocks away from Junipero Serra Boulevard, shortly before 6 a.m.

They say an unidentified man in his early 20s ran into the street, and the motorcycle ran over one of his legs.
A CHP spokesman says the man appeared to be drunk.
Fire officials say the injured man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, and the officer was uninjured.
