41 New Emoji Characters Approved And Coming Soon Including Taco, Hot Dog, And More
The Unicode Consortium has announced the latest emojis to be part of Unicode 8.0.
8.0 contains 41 new emoji characters including 5 Emoji modifiers to change the skin tone on existing emojis.
Popular requested emoji additions include Hot Dog, Taco, Burrito, Cheese Wedge, Popcorn, Bottle with Popping Cork, Turkey, and Unicorn face.
You'll see these and the rest on your device once they are integrated by companies like Apple and Google.
