Woodland Police Investigating Intentionally Set Truck Fire

WOODLAND (CBS13) – Woodland Police are searching for an arsonist who set a pick up truck on fire early Tuesday morning.

Police and Woodland fire fighters were called to the 200 block of Hays Street in Woodland just after 1:30 a.m. by a man who awoke to find his truck on fire.

Fire fighters arrived to find flames shooting from the left side of a white Dodge pickup truck parked on the street.

After fire crews put out the fire, police officers found a large bottle of lighter fluid in the street and a burnt rag on the hood of the truck.

Police collected evidence to be processed for fingerprints.
