Woman Killed By Car In South Sac
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A woman was struck and killed while walking in South Sacramento late Saturday evening, authorities said.
The woman, described as being in her mid-40s, was walking along southbound Center Parkway near Arroyo Vista Drive at about 9:00 p.m. when she was fatally wounded by a vehicle.
It is not yet clear if she was walking in the roadway or on a sidewalk.
Authorities said the driver stopped at the scene and called for help. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
