Wig-Wearing Bandit Hits Carmichael Bank In Halloween Heist

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) – The FBI is searching for a wig-wearing bandit hit up a Carmichael bank in a Halloween day heist.

The lone thief walked into a Wells Fargo bank on Fair Oaks Boulevard around 9:30 this morning and gave a teller a note demanding money and then ran off.

The wig-wearing thief was caught on camera. He's described as a black man about 5' 11" to 6' tall. He has dark hair, a goatee and was wearing long, curly wig. He also was wearing a black sweat shirt, faded jeans and aviator sunglasses.

The Sacramento Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information on the bank robber. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
