STOCKTON — The University of the Pacific is the latest college in the country to be impacted by the Trump administration.

Just last week, two international students had their visas revoked.

The University of the Pacific told CBS Sacramento that last week, they were made aware that two international students connected with the university had their visas impacted.

There are three campuses, one in Stockton and the other two in Sacramento and San Francisco. The university did not say which campus this occurred on or what country the students were from.

It's not clear why their visas were revoked by the feds.

It's causing concern for many on campus, with more than 750 students from other countries studying at the university, accounting for roughly 11% of the student population.

"I think it's not a good thing, especially for this college where most students also are international students," student Ekam Samara said. "Most students in their Master's program are also from international countries. So it really impacts the funding of the school, the school's diversity and all these new things, new cultures coming into our school."

This has also been happening at other California universities, including UC Davis, where 14 students have now had their F-1 visas terminated.

Some students worry that this will have an even greater impact on the overall college community.

"There's so many people from all over the world here, and I know they want to get their education, while [they] also meet new people and just develop skills that would be helpful for them in the future," student Sarang Bajwa shared. "And if that's being taken away from them, that would be really unfair."

President Christopher Callahan has released this statement:

"At the University of the Pacific, international students, scholars and families are essential to the fabric of our community. We are committed to working closely with the two people whose visas were impacted and will continue to ensure any member of our community has the resources and support they need to continue their educational pursuits."
