The Don Geronimo Show - May 8, 2012
Don begins by calling in Billy from promotions, to discuss the conversation left off from yesterday, regarding the young lady he met at Ann Marie's birthday party. Don actually gets the young lady, "Alyssa," as well as her dad, "Rick" on the phone, and Don asks what they think of Billy, and whether or not he has a chance with Alyssa. Billy, smooth as always, asks her out to a River Cats game. Don then pulls out his Junior High yearbook, and reads a few of the signings from his friends, including his "D.O.T." buddies, and a 9th grade girl who was using him to irritate her boyfriend.
Throughout the show, Don and Phantom discuss which sitcom couples, they think, had the best sex life. While they both agree that Gomez and Morticia Addams are atop the list, many others are discussed, and listeners even text in and call with their suggestions. Don also gives us the full story on John Travolta being sued by a masseusse for sexual battery. Apparently, Travolta is being accused of grabbing the masseusse in inappropriate areas, as well as telling him that the only way to get gigs in Hollywood is to perform sexual acts, as "Hollywood is ran by homos and Jews."
After hearing a few clips, including Ed McMahon drunk on Carson, and a new parody song based on Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher," Don tells us why boobs sag, and gives us a few other fun facts. We also hear Sheryl Crow forgetting the words to her own song, and the the Grandmas who watched the Kim K tape on "Access Hollywood." It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour. " Today, Phantom gives us the official numbers for "The Avengers'" debut weekend, Sasha Baron Cohen says the "ashes" incident was intended for George Clooney, not Ryan Seacrest, and Girl Scouts are coming out with a new candy bar based on their cookies. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
