This store's location at Greenback and San Juan sits atop an acre and a half with not one, but two Steveo Brockway signature skate parks featuring some of the best terrain in the biz. Receipts of store purchases can earn free entry into the park. Surf & Skate not only has a vast array of product and brands, it also hosts a skate team and skate lessons, birthday parties, exclusive events and free, weekly skate jams.

Skater owned and operated, SorD's skate or die mantra takes a twist on tradition as it invites skaters to go big, small, beginner or pro, as long as you love to skate. Located between College and First streets this place features more than 300 wheel sets, at least 200 trucks, more than 400 decks and at least 100 complete boards. Skate life without skate apparel just isn't skate life, so has the whole hook up with 250 pairs of shades, 40 styles of shoes and skate-brand only clothing. With its own team on board, SorD guarantees one of the largest inventories in NorCal.

Butch's Boardshop

Butch's boasts all outfits from straight boarding shred to sexy sideline duds. Offering brands that include Oakley, Vans, Independent Girl and Alien Workshop, Butch's is home to cutting-edge gear and the latest street fashion. Before going to the big skate park in the sky, Butch worked his way up from a youngster in Pacific Beach to a Hobie board shaper to an educator and advocate for special education programs. Butch's still carries on community advancement with youth programs and donations to school fundraisers, the YMCA and other non-profit organizations. Coming from three generations of boarders, this store knows how to best help every boarder.
