Suspect Sought In 3 Sacramento Area GameStop Robberies

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento County sheriff's detectives are searching for a man wanted for a series of armed robberies at GameStop stores last month.

Three Sacramento-area GameStops were robbed within a one-hour period on June 26. The stores robbed were at 3198 Arden Way, 2820 Marconi Avenue and 6306 Garfield Avenue. In each case, the suspect displayed a small, chrome handgun and demanded money from store employees.

The suspect is described as a black male adult between 20-25 years old, 6-foot-1 to 6-5 and weighing 190-200 pounds. He wore a dreadlock wig during the robberies.

Investigation has resulted in this suspect also being connected to additional armed robberies in the Bay Area including El Cerrito, Pittsburg, Vallejo, Richmond and San Jose. Those incidents date back to May 30.
