Sacramento Police Holding DUI Checkpoint On Friday
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento Police will be holding a DUI checkpoint on Friday night.
The department announced the sobriety and driver's license checkpoint will be on Power Inn Road near Elder Creek Road starting at 7:30 p.m. and running for five to seven hours.
The checkpoints are based on collision statistics and the frequency of DUI arrests, resulting in the areas that will benefit the most from the added police presence.
