Ticket sold at Rocklin Mini Mart wins $5.7 million in Powerball drawing
ROCKLIN – A person who bought a Powerball ticket in Rocklin recently came within one number of winning the jackpot in Wednesday's drawing.
California Lottery officials say the ticket was sold at the Rocklin Mini Mart.
The ticket matched the five numbers in Wednesday night's drawing – 53, 39, 29, 20, and 5 – but missed the Powerball number of 6.
Still, the five-number match means the ticket won a prize of $5,717,713.
No one claimed the top prize in Wednesday's drawing, which means the jackpot has now grown from $484 million to an estimated $515 million.
The next Powerball drawing is set to happen Saturday.
