Pollock Pines Man Arrested After 6-Week-Old Baby Dies
POLLOCK PINES (CBS13) – A man is behind bars in connection with the death of a six-week-old baby.
Michael Swope, 26, was booked into El Dorado County Jail on Wednesday.
The baby died on Dec. 19. Someone called 911 that day to report an unresponsive infant at a Pollock Pines home.
Investigators won't say if Swope is the baby's father, but they did confirm he is in a relationship with the baby's mother.
She is not a suspect.
