Person airlifted from Palisades Tahoe after being struck by snowmobile

OLYMPIC VALLEY – A person at Palisades Tahoe was struck and injured by a snowmobile on Saturday, the ski resort said.

The crash happened around noon while the person was near the Big Blue lift.

Palisades Tahoe said the person's leg was injured in the crash, and they were airlifted to receive care. 

The resort operations X account posted Big Blue was placed on hold for about 30 minutes around noon.
