Man Shot In Front Of Sacramento Candlelight Vigil For Murder Victim
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Sacramento police are investigating a shooting in the same street where a teenager was murdered just one day earlier.
Officers say a group of people had gathered Monday night around a candlelight memorial on Wainscott Way when someone started shooting.
A male victim later showed up at a nearby hospital in critical condition -- with gunshot wounds to his arms and legs.
The memorial was for a teenager who was killed on the same street early Sunday morning.
Neighbors say they heard multiple shots -- and they're concerned about the escalating violence.
The identity of Sunday's murder victim has not yet been released.
