Man Injured In Shootout With Stockton Police
STOCKTON (CBS13) – A Stockton man was hospitalized Thursday morning after an overnight shootout with police.
Officers were called to a home near East Bianchi Road and Calandria Street for a family disturbance around 2:30 a.m.
According to the Stockton Police Department, officers were attempting to talk to a man outside when he fired a gunshot at them.
Officers fired back and the suspect ran away and fired at officers again.
Police shot back and hit the suspect.
The man is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No officers were hurt.
The shooting is under investigation.
