Stockton Teen Accused Of Injuring Officer During Arrest

STOCKTON (CBS13) - A Stockton police officer was injured Thursday night while taking a suspect into custody.

Several officers were called out to a family disturbance in the 3400 block of Zamora Way when, as officers were helping resolve the dispute, the suspect, Lance Jett, 18, allegedly began obstructing officers and was arrested, according to San Joaquin County Deputy Les Garcia.

During his arrest, Jett reportedly elbowed one of the officers in the mouth and broke the officer's tooth. Jett faces charges of battery on a peace officer and obstruction of justice.
