Later School Time Decision Postponed By Vacaville Schools
VACAVILLE (CBS13) — Students looking forward to sleeping a little later next year will be disappointed.
The Vacaville Unified School District has decided to postpone a plan to push back school start times for another school year.
The district says it's listening to a recommendation to hold off until the 2017-18 school year to give families and public transportation a chance to adjust to new school times.
A vote on the proposed school time changes will be coming in the fall.
