General Information

Golfland Sunsplash has been a destination for fun in the greater Sacramento area for many years. It is easily described as a very family-oriented business. The center has plenty of options for the entire family, including simply watching your children laugh and have an amazingly fun time. It is open year round, although during bad weather some of the outside rides aren't available. Taking full advantage of everything here will probably result in working up an appetite. Luckily, there are four different spots to eat, including a Subway and a pizza option. Enjoy a little ice cream on a hot day. Indoor arcades with more choices than you can imagine, go carts, an amazing series of water features and golf are all available. Book your birthday party here and take advantage of group rates, VIP passes and more. There's simply a boat full of things to do here.

Getting There

Golfland Sunsplash is located at 1893 Taylor Road in Roseville. It is just off Interstate 80. Take I80 to the Atlantic Street/Eureka Road off ramp. Turn east to Taylor Road. Turn onto Taylor, and you are there.

Golfland Arcade and Golf opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m., seven days a week. The Lazer Knights and Fast Cars open at 3 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. Sunsplash is open from May through September. It costs $79.99, or re-new your season pass from last year for $69.99. All in all, it comes down to what you want to do, and how many times you think you'll be back.

Grab A Bite To Eat

Working up an appetite around this place is pretty easy. There are four spots to quench that yearning to fill your tanks. Knights Pizza and Subs offers, not surprisingly, homemade pizzas along with nachos, pretzels, soft drinks and Icees. Iceberg Shakes builds a very thick and delicious milkshake, the kind you really can't get to move through a straw. There is a Subway in the park too. The Castaway Cove snack bar serves up what you'd expect from a snack bar including char-broiled cheeseburgers, chill cheese fries, hot dogs and more. The long and short of it is this: you won't go hungry while enjoying the park.

What To Do

It's likely that you'll spend most of your day at one of the 13 different water adventures. They range from the Wavepool to Northern California's only five-story plunge into the waiting waters below. Gentle to extreme, take your choice. King Ben's Castle and the Arcade will keep you busy figuring out how to beat the machines. How about some Laser Tag? This fun sport has gained in popularity over the years. The arena here will put your skills to the test, over and over again. There are two Miniature Golf courses to take on. One is pretty easy and the other one may hurt your ego a bit. For those who are 58" tall, there is the Fast Car Raceway. This will blow your hair back because it is fast. Plan on spending the day, or many days. It will take more than one day to figure out what you like best, and what your children want to do next time.
