Giants Fan Beating Suspect Investigated In Nevada Shooting
LOS ANGELES (CBS) – Giovanni Ramirez, the man suspected of brutally beating Giants fan Bryan Stow outside Dodger Stadium on March 31, is also being investigated in an attempted murder case in Nevada.
CBS obtained an official document that shows Ramirez is a named suspect in a premeditated shooting that took place in Henderson, Nev., earlier this year. The suspect description in that case indicates that the shooter was wearing Los Angeles Dodgers gear.
Ramirez was scheduled to take a polygraph test Wednesday over the Dodger Stadium attack incident. He has previously claimed that he was watching his daughter at the time of the crime, and not at the ballpark.

Ramirez's attorneys said Wednesday that they handed over several documents, including cell phone records, to detectives. Lawyers said they have 11 alibi witnesses who can prove Ramirez is innocent.
Stow, a father of two, has been in a coma for much of the past two months. He was transferred to San Francisco General Hospital last month to continue care closer to his family.
